Designing Media-Rich Curriculum for Bible Engagement Project
How Church Visuals helped the Assemblies of God strengthen biblical literacy through custom visuals and video.
The Creative Challenge
As the Bible Engagement Project expanded in scope and reach, the Assemblies of God team faced a growing creative challenge. While the curriculum was biblically rich and thoughtfully developed, they lacked the internal staff capacity to produce the volume, consistency, and quality of visual media needed to support a fully age-aligned, multi-year discipleship initiative. With hundreds of assets required across multiple lesson units – including graphics in a variety of sizes, print designs, motion content, bumper videos and more – the team needed a creative partner who could handle large-scale production without sacrificing theological clarity or educational excellence.

Our Work for Bible Engagement Project
For Bible Engagement Project’s NEXT LEVEL unit, the creative challenge was to design a video-game-themed experience that would immediately connect with kids while reinforcing deep biblical truth. Church Visuals partnered with the Bible Engagement Project team to craft a bold, immersive visual system that felt fun, energetic, and familiar to today’s digital-native learners.
We designed a custom logo, series graphics, blank slides, lesson and Bible verse slides, social media content, a dynamic sermon bumper, trailer video, countdown timer videos, motion backgrounds, poster designs, and more – each element built to work together seamlessly. The result was a cohesive, game-inspired visual world that captured attention, increased engagement, and helped kids connect Scripture to real life in a way that felt exciting, memorable, and meaningful.
