Show Notes
Show Notes:
Today we have a special guests Todd Smith and Allan Hall from the group Selah. Selah’s music has more than half-a-billion streams, they have sold over 4 million albums, and have 11 GMA Dove Awards to their credit. Selah’s Allan Hall, Amy Perry and Todd Smith have earned a reputation for not only delivering compelling new anthems but also for reviving great hymns of faith. They have also populated culture with such enduring hits as “Press On,” “Wonderful, Merciful Savior,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Hope of the Broken World”, “All My Praise” and more.
It was a real treat to have these guys on, they are very down to earth. We talked about worship in today’s culture. Specifically about hymns – the importance of hymns, are we missing them in church, are we missing the theology – are we becoming more biblical illiterate.
