Your Visuals Matter with Carl Barnhill | Season 1 | Episode 4

Why Should My Church Use Visual Media?

Show Notes

Why should your church use visual media? If you’ve ever asked this question, then this episode is going to help you.

This week, we welcome Derrick Smith. Derrick is the Creative Director at Simple Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Derrick is a Ministry Leader that is in the trenches just like you. It’s important to Simple church to use visuals to communicate the Gospel.

We believe that your visuals help communicate the Gospel to your people. We are defining Visual Media as graphics and video that we put on screen of all sizes.

So why do your Visuals Matter?
Why does good design and quality video make a difference?
How do we recognize what is good or poor quality?
What are some industry standards?
Why should we spend money and resources at our church on graphic design and video?
What about for our worship experience, website, social media, kids and students ministries?

In this episode we hope to talk about the quality of visual media and how to make sure we are using the very best. We believe that this helps communicate the message of the Gospel most effectively. That is why your church should use visual media.
