We are Free

On July 2nd, 1776 the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence. That date has been marked for hundreds of years with fireworks, family, and fanfare. It is a reminder that as Christians we are truly free not from the rule of some foreign country rather, we have been freed from the tyranny of sin. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection have destroyed the rule of the Evil One. We have been given life. Happy Independence Day!
