Our growth as Christians does not take place primarily in comfortable situations. Many characters in the Bible find themselves in the wilderness right before God uses them to make a huge impact. God knows that we grow most through tough trials, serious testing and difficult circumstances. It is in these places we find out God is always with us and he is working in us off the grid.
