Setting up your VBS or Special Events

In this episode of ProPresenter Power Talks, Steve talks about setting up your VBS or Special Events in ProPresenter. The summer time is full of special events and of course Vacation Bible School. So he offers tips successfully set up for these types of events.

First, he suggests creating separate folders in the media library for the specific events. This keeps VBS and summer content separate from regular church materials.
Next, it’s wise to create a new library in ProPresenter called “VBS” and add all VBS items there. After VBS, you can export these items to an external drive for archiving if needed. Otherwise, delete the VBS library and media folder to clean up the system.

Additionally, you should create a new playlist folder called “VBS 2024” and add items for each day’s events. Build presentations and add them to this VBS playlist folder. So after VBS, you can then export this playlist folder for future reference.

Steve emphasizes keeping the system organized by separating event content. This way, it’s easy to remove temporary materials after events without cluttering the regular church resources.
