That’s what happened to us in relation to our former name, Twelve Thirty Media. We heard the confusion every time we heard these questions:
Do you spell it out?
- Twelve Thirty Media?
Is it numbers?
- 12:30 or 1230?
There’s a colon, right?
- 12:30? 1230 Media? Twelve:Thirty Media?
Is it a Bible Verse?
- Mark 12:30?
It’s it a time of day?
- 12:30pm? 12:30am?
We have changed our name!
Here’s why.
It started with the best intentions though. My wife, Katie, and I originally wanted a name that described how our company (and you) do ministry. It’s not about the flash of graphics and videos; but it’s about discipleship. In Mark 12:30, Jesus summed up authentic ministry by saying it’s when we “Love God and Love People”.
So we edited Mark 12:30 down to Twelve Thirty Media. It seemed clear to us. But as grew, the name became a challenge for those we serve. You.
Well, we heard you. And we’ve changed our name (even though we always want to help see changed lives and not just be about being flashy). The NAME ultimately helps everyone remember it AND creates a tighter focus on what we do really well.
We have also combined our Twelve Thirty Media AND Twelve Thirty Kids brands into one brand. This simplifies our catalog of work!
Our new name and brand is Church Visuals.
Why? Because that’s what we specialize in. And our promise to you? We’ll provide you with world-class graphics and videos to help you visually communicate the Gospel to your audience.
