This week I welcome Matt Ehresman to the show. Matt is the Creative Media Director at First MB Church in Wichita, Kansas and the author of “Upstream – 8 Counter Cultural Ways to Live a Better Life.” Matt worked for Focus on the Family for years and I talked to him about his experience there and in church world. We stirred our conversation to the topic of getting stuck in the Performance Trap – how we as leaders can sometimes fall into the trap of performing and don’t take the necessary time to disengage and unplug from our work.
